With its 191 meters of height, Dubai Star Tower is among the 80 tallest high-rise buildings  in  Dubai.  The  tower,  a  48  storey (2B+G+44+M)   mixed   use   office/residential development, for a total 65’500 m² BUA, in Jumeirah Lakes Towers district of Dubai, on-hold during 2009 market meltdown, has been taken over by the Italian developer Preatoni Real Estate  and is set for completion in 2018.
